This incredibly spacious cottage has been designed to an exceptional standard and is an ideal place to unwind and relax. We aim to provide a place where you can escape the daily stresses and the chance to really unwind in a beautiful, calm setting. Enjoy a sense of wellbeing; relaxing in the sauna, rainfall shower or stunning roll top bath.

Look forward to watching a film in the cinema room after an invigorating day out exploring, fishing, playing golf or hill walking. Sonas Cottage is the ideal place for your honeymoon, babymoon or romantic break in the Outer Hebrides. A real treat and a place we hope you look forward to returning to over the years.

Situated in Bunavoneader, a peaceful village in North Harris at the foot of the Clisham, and overlooking a sea loch. It is an ideal location to discover the stunning beaches, scenery and historical attractions in Harris and Lewis.

Sonas Cottage is a place where you can escape from the usual hectic pace of life. Life in the Isle of Harris is at a slower place. You can wake up in a quiet village with only the sound of birds or sheep outside. Looking out of the bedroom in this rural retreat you have a lovely sea view.

The Cottage

This 5 star self catering cottage has many luxurious features. We have adapted a 3 bedroom family home into a beautiful, spacious retreat for couples. This unique design; traditional on the outside, luxurious and technologically advanced on the inside is perfect for those who want to stay in a traditional Harris cottage with a modern twist.

The Isle of Harris is a wonderful place for hillwalking and we have designed a sauna room in our cottage so

that you have a luxurious area to unwind. There is a rainfall shower in this beautifully tiled room so that you can cool down before going back to relax in the sauna.

We have incorporated an amazing multi room music system in the design of our cottage. This allows you to choose music on a touchscreen handset which can play in the bedroom, bathroom, sauna room, living-room and kitchen diner. You can even set different music to play in each room at the same

time.

The bathroom is next door to the sauna room and has a stunning blue cast iron roll-top bath. The bath is huge and wonderful for stretching out to relax.

The Isle of Harris does not have a cinema. We have

designed a personal cinema room for your enjoyment in our cottage. There are even theatre seats and a popcorn machine for your romantic night in.

The bedroom has a kingsize bed, an

en-suite and peaceful sea-view.

The living room has a beautiful Morso wood burning stove. Imagine coming back from an invigorating walk along the many stunning beaches or a day's hillwalking to relax in front of a real fire.

The modern, spacious, well equipped kitchen diner makes this self catering holiday cottage feel like a home from home.

Offshore, smaller, uninhabited islands may also be accessed, such as the iconic St Kilda, a World Heritage Site with some of the most amazing vistas to be seen anywhere in the world.

The rich cultural heritage of Harris can be seen in its archaeology sites such as St. Clements Church in Rodel, the chapel ruins at Northton, and its standing stones to name but a few.

The living culture of the Isle of Harris can be sampled in the Gaelic language, in music and in song.

This place is truly somewhere special, and the best way to discover how special it is, is to come and experience it for yourself.
